The hotel had a greenhouse-like feel with rooms in need of updating. Despite the bathrooms being the exception, the lack of natural light on the first floor, combined with cigarette smells and noise at night, affected the overall experience. The small balcony did not provide the anticipated fresh air due to suspected indoor smoking.

The hotel had a good location, just a short walk from the Cathedral and close to most champagne houses. The rooms were small but comfortable, even though the lack of staff caused delays. The service was excellent, especially with recommendations for wine tours and friendly advice. The dining experience was acceptable but a bit disappointing considering the price.
